The Musée de la mémoire vivante is a modern institution where you can participate actively by sharing your memories. You have the opportunity to add your own experiences and memories to the exhibitions orally or in written form. More precisely, you are invited to leave your photo albums, audio recordings, letters, drawings, books, etc.
Food is now considered as an important theme of this museum as food habits in Quebec were greatly influenced by social, political and religious events. You can also attend and take part in an exhibition dedicated to meal rituals.
