Festival Couleurs du monde is the main event of the summer in the city of Sainte-Marie as well as a unique festival in Quebec. It features 4 days of activities which highlight the living heritage at 5 entertainment venues.
Every evening at Scène Desjardins, lively shows of folk ensembles and renowned artists will fill you with wonder.
Come and visit Place de la famille cache à Maxime, a venue with day and night entertainment centered on exclusive shows, captivating entertainment, original introductions and profitable exchanges with artists! You will certainly enjoy the family activities that make you discover the world’s cultures!
Every afternoon at Place Loto Québec, you have the chance to have a try at dances from here and elsewhere accompanied by folk ensembles coming from other countries. At night, you will live a festive atmosphere with the rhythm of traditional music.
Artisans showcasing their work at Malle aux trésors, will present you unique products and you will be able to taste and enjoy the world’s know-how and flavours. You will feel like you have just entered a whole new world of international culture.
Not to be missed: the traditional Desjardins barbecue and the famous Beauce’s maple breakfast, two of the most popular activities.
