The history of the parc des chutes d'Armagh started at the beginning of the 20th century with the building of a railroad and a 70-metre high overpass that allowed the trains to go across the river. Nowadays, some interpretation panels have been installed to allow visitors to learn about the history of this park, which is easily accessible.
Come enjoy a walk on the 5 kilometres of paths that run alongside the river, or walk on the two suspended bridges. One of the bridges crosses the river directly over the waterfall and offers a great view on the falls and the river below. Picnic areas are also available for you to spend a great day with your family. In winter, the snow transforms the park and allows visitors to go snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Enjoy the outdoors!
