Two cycling paths can be used in the Lotbinière region. The Lotbinière linear park offers 25 kilometres of paths, from Dosquet to Saint-Agapit. You can either walk, bike or in-line skate along this path. Numerous bird species can be observed on either side of this road. Take the time to rest at the several rest areas. The rivers, peat bogs and marshes that dot the cycling path are a great environment for bird watching.
The parc linéaire le Grand Tronc, for its part, is part of the Trans Canada Trail and takes you from Lévis to Saint-Agapit. You can walk or bike along the 22 kilometres of the path where you will see rivers, marshes and peat bogs. You will also see numerous bird species, as well as beautiful rural landscapes. A few rest areas are scattered along the path, so you can take a break. Come and take advantage of the outdoors in Chaudière-Appalaches!
