Terrasse de Lévis

Accessible year round

A Breathtaking View

The Terrasse de Lévis was inaugurated in 1939 by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The terrace is in fact a viewpoint park that allows visitors to walk along the St. Lawrence River that runs below and to observe the beautiful views offered by the Québec and the Chaudière-Appalaches regions. Among other things, you can admire the ramparts of Québec City, which are illuminated at night, the Château Frontenac, the Pierre-Laporte and Québec bridges, as well as the Laurentian Mountains like Mont Sainte-Anne.

You can also take a look at the bewitched island, Île d'Orléans. Once winter comes, the sight of the ferries and the icebreakers is simply beautiful. You will not want to miss the sunsets on Québec City either.
