Cap-Saint-Ignace

Cap-Saint-Ignace

An old 330-year-old municipality, Cap-Saint-Ignace has pedestrian paths that lead to the Petit-Cap, the first colonized area, and to the old quay site. You can tour the city and discover the historical buildings by taking the patrimonial circuits and stop at the church, which houses a three-keyboard Casavant organ. In spring, it is nice to visit the maple groves and taste the delicious maple products and in fall, the apple road will enchant you with its sites where you can pick your own fruit. Besides, the Cidrerie La Pomme du Saint-Laurent is one of these sites where you will have the chance to taste home-made ciders and buy apple products like jellies and small apples coated with jam syrup among others.
