Come Taste the Delicious Cakes
The Maison J.-A.-Vachon is the ancestral house of the Vachon family, who is a Sainte-Marie businessmen family. For a few years now, this house has been restored and transformed into an interpretation centre where you will be told the history of the family as well as that of its successful company. Inside, you can watch two short movies, the first one about the history of the family, and the second one with images of the factory showing the making process of the delicious cakes. You can also see the world's oldest wedding cake, an official Guinness record. This Sainte-Marie institution is now the ownership of the multinational Saputo.
