The Sainte-Hénédine Church welcomes you in its serene and peaceful setting. Numerous stained-glass windows allow the dim light to enter the church, which was built in 1910. The two bell towers point to the skies and remind visitors of the importance of the Catholic religion during the 20th century. Inside the church, visitors can see religious objects of Quebec.
In the presbytery, several wood sculptures, epoch scenes and artefacts will take you back to those days when religion was part of the daily life. Stop by the Hangar à dîme, where an authentic horse-drawn hearse dating back to 1928 awaits you. The chapel of the cemetery is decorated with beautiful sculptures made of metal, wood and marble.
