Saint-Vallier

Saint-Vallier is the country of snow geese and “La Corriveau”. In spring and fall, you will have the chance to observe thousands of snow geese that make a stop at the Domaine de la rivière Boyer. You will also discover the legend of La Corriveau, a woman condemned to death in 1763 after having murdered 7 of her husbands. Being part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec Association, this town houses the Manoir Lanaudière, the Moulin des soeurs Hospitalières and the Maison du Dr Côté. During your visit, stop at the local bakery and at the traditional wooden boats shipyard of the rivière des Mères.
