Saint-Philémon

The small village of Saint-Philémon will make you discover a mountainous environment bearing interesting attractions such as the Musée de l’or at the Ranch Massif du Sud. This museum will make you relive the gold rush period, by foot or on a horse. You will become a prospector-for-a-day and visit a re-created mine. You will also have a choice of several packages, including 5-day horseback riding vacations and horseback rides lasting for several hours. You will even get to bring back gold nuggets with you as a souvenir. In Saint-Philémon, you can also visit the parc regional du Massif du Sud. You will be enchanted by the magnificent scenery, the deep valleys, the cascades, the canyon, the rock shelters and the old-growth forests. The ski resort will surely please winter sports enthusiasts with its 92 kilometres of pedestrian paths and its 35 kilometres of biking trails. It is also possible to go camping or sleep in the shelters. Young and old will have a tremendous time in the challenge course, which is composed of a rope bridge and a labyrinth castle among others.
