The Moulin de Beaumont, which was built in 1821, still grinds wheat using an ancestral technique, that is to say grinding wheat on millstone. You can visit the three storeys of the mill, where you will discover how the millers used to grind flour, as well as the tools they used. You can even visit the attic, where the flour bags used to be kept.
Walk all the way down to the sandbar, where you will discover the remnants of the Péan mill. Close to the Beaumont mill, you will find a terrace and a picnic area, where you can relax and enjoy fresh air. Take the time to sample the delicious homemade products.
