In Tribute to a Great Doctor
Doctor Chabot was born in 1874, died in 1972 and worked as a family doctor in the region for almost 70 years. Back in those days, that kind of doctor was called a “village doctor”. These doctors were the ones who delivered babies, but they also performed surgeries and gave medicines.
Nowadays, you can visit his house, which was built in 1924. Its interior has been restored to represent the epoch during which Doctor Chabot lived. Visitors can, among other things, visit the consulting office, as well as the exhibition dedicated to Eugène Prévost, who is the founder of the Prévost factory, an internationally-known local company.
