Saint-Fortunat

The Countryside as Far as the Eye Can See

Saint-Fortunat is a small village of 300 inhabitants. In 1867, this village was known under the name of Saint-Fortunat-de-Wolfestown. However, the name changed a few years later to take the one we know today. Officially, it was created in 1873, but unofficially, in 1871.

People who come to this village should take the time to appreciate the calm, tranquillity and country look of the place. There are fields as far as the eye can see. You might even see some buffalos during your tour of the city, since a breeder settled in the village. If you are fond of horseback rides, pass by the Centre Équestre Quatre Vents, in summer and winter alike. You will have the chance to go on a most agreeable and safe ride.
