On the Site Heritage Kinnear’s Mills, you will discover the history of the Hautes-Appalaches, a territory colonized by the Bristish, the Irish and the Scottish. You will be enchanted by the customs, expertise, music and lifestyle they brought with them. A guide will tell you about the life of the village’s ancestors, like James Kinnear and Harriet Wilson, who ran the mills and built the first general store. Characters from the past will also tell you about their life in the 19th century. During some weekends in summer, cultural shows and exhibitions are presented.
