Experience the vastness of the mine LAB Crysotile from the top of this observation tower, It will offer you a great view on this gigantic mine. The mine has been extracting asbestos since 1986 and has been making crysotile asbestos fibres for the Canadian market as well as for the International market. This opencast mine is 2.1 kilometres (1.3 miles) in diameter and 353 metres deep (1,160 feet).
